How to Beat Blobberfly
Use Your Power Surges Strategically
Using any level Power Surge will result in the Blobberfly flinging a Creeper at the Luigi that did it, instantly trapping them. Strategize and time your Power Surges correctly or you'll end up wasting time trying to escape Creepers.
Blobberflys are the same as the Primordial Goo as they can also summon Creepers and trap you.
Mind Your Footing
Try not to get too close to it as it will trap you inside, beat you up, and suffocate you like any regular Creeper. Mind where you are being pulled by other Ghosts and the Blobberfly, as you can also get trapped by regular Creepers.
Try to Avoid Other Ghosts
The Blobberfly will always spawn with Sneakers and Slammers, so try to avoid them or have someone take care of them while the rest wail on the Blobberfly.
Watch Out for Puddles on the Floor
Just like regular Creepers, the Blobberfly will pop out of the floor once stepped on or revealed with your Darklight or by using your Poltergust to blow or suck it in.
How to Escape Being Trapped by the Blobberfly and Creepers
Smash the B Button to Escape
If you manage to get caught by either a Creeper or the Blobberfly, just continuously press the B Button to escape.
